Colic hit cancels out Mongolian Khan in Melbourne Cup

FAME Game’s choking grip on Melbourne Cup favouritism has tightened after the withdrawal of Mongolian Khan.

Mongolian Khan’s withdrawal is a huge blow for Baker and Chinese owner Lang Lin, known by colleagues as Mr Wolf.

Lin, who is the founder and chief executive of the Inner Mongolian Rider Horse Group, was bringing 150 guests from China to watch his horse in the Melbourne Cup.
