Korean Rider Won the Individual Championship and Our Team Take the Champion, Runner-up of Team Event
The 14th International Equestrian Competition in Inner Mongolia started on Aug. 5th, 2006 and riders are from China, Japan and Korea In the team event in the morning, our China Team 2 from Inner Mongolia won the championship.
The representative teams included China Team 1, China Team 2, Japan Team, and Korea Team having taken part in. China Team 1 included Zhang Bin, Darima, Duo Likun etc. while China Team 2 was constituted by riders from Inner Mongolia Equestrian Team. Japan and Korea sent amateur riders this time.
The horses were provided by Sports Group 1 of Inner Mongolia, and the riders selected their horses by drawing lots. After two round competitions, the China Team 2 won the championship of Team Competition, China Team 1 and Korea Team took the second and third places respectively.
The competition included team event and individual competition. In the individual competition held on Aug. 6th, the Korean rider Song Mingjun won the championship, Darima and Zhang Bin from China came the second and third ..
The individual champion Song Mingjun was the core of Korea Team. With his effort Korea Team took the third places in the eeam event on Aug. 5th, and he also won the individual championship on Aug. 6th with excellent performance. Darima took the second places via extra competition with Zhangbin.
This competition lasted for two days with 8 thousand dollars for bonus. |
